CPS/CAP Certification

Achieving certification through IAAP is the internationally recognized standard of excellence. IAAP offers the Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®) rating and recently introduced the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP®) program. Topic areas for IAAP certification programs include economics, accounting, business law, office technology and administration, communications, and organizational planning.

You may apply to take the CPS or CAP exam if you have completed two or four years experience (determined by educational background) as an administrative professional in the past 15 years. The exams are administered bi-annually in May and November.
